Teacher Delone
Delone Witt

Born and raised in Texas, DeLone has been in the accounting field for over 25 years.  Although a graduate from Parks School of Business in Denver, Colorado, she feels her knowledge was learned mostly from the many years working in the public accounting field.  In 1995, she moved from West Texas to East Texas and after a short stint as a professional portrait photographer, she went to work for an affiliated Texaco distributorship learning first hand about tank gauges, sticking tanks for gasoline and state excise state reports.

DeLone came to the Pak in 2001 when the CPA she was working with retired.  “I was so excited to be offered a job with the software company that I used in the ‘real world’.   I tell people that I thought working three years in WolfePak Software made me an expert – boy was I surprised to find out how much I didn’t know.  Now seven years later, I know enough to know that I don’t know it all but each day brings a new adventure and new learning skills from oil and gas operations to office organization.”

In the WolfePak family, DeLone wears multiple hats.  She works in tech support, coordinates all training classes for new users and companies converting from DOS to Windows Software, teaches training classes, and even gets practical experience paying bills and making deposits for WolfePak using the new scanning features.

DeLone stays just as busy outside of the office being involved in community service projects.  For five years, Delone has coordinated Christmas in November, an annual arts and crafts show, for the Oro Negra Chapter of American Business Women’s Association while also serving as its President and Ways and Means Chairman.  DeLone also belongs to Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and is active in the American Cancer Society and church activities.  Prior to moving to Abilene, DeLone was president of the Lioness Club and the Levelland Chamber of Commerce’s Marigolds.  Active as an adult 4-H leader, she has sponsored many a 4-H activity locally and statewide.

DeLone and Mike, have one daughter, Shannon and son-in-law Brandon.  The pride and joy of the whole family is grandsons Beau 12 and Bryce 6.
